Mansell mania, I’ve been listening to music again… oh yes sort of an extension of the nerdcore post. I remembered one of my old (not that old!) favorite games for PS1 which is Loaded (game play) which is a perfectly gritty simple little game where you have to blow up every thing that moves and in some cases things that don’t move. well I didn’t play it again (yet). But i did pop the CD in my mac to rip those really cool sounding tracks, some from Pop Will Eat Itself. I’ve also been listening to Clint Mansell’s (PWEI) movie scores that are simply incredible. Even though Requiem For A Dream isn’t the most cheery film out there Mansell adds a real depth to the scenes and shows amazing versatility in his layering of instruments.
