* Making good!
Well here I am Making good on my promise, but for how long!? Just about to hop in the shower so i’ll finish this after that. But so i don’t forget I’m going to write this now. While looking through some of my favorite design blogs, (that I’m sure i mentioned in earlier posts) of course from the comfort of my bed . I was left feeling a little empty at the sight of another over designed titillating image. UNTIL I found this
that I thought was quite cool, it incorporates my love of biro’s and more importantly, a nice simple idea that has been well executed. Not saying it will change my favorite fonts. I think sacrificing a little extra ink so I can get rid of the serifs will always be an easy choice for me. But I will be making more use of courier new for a developing side project, which is good in these troubled economic times.
Well I have wasted enough of my time today playing Plant’s Vs Zombies (you can play the demo here). But as i wrote that i remembered I’ve got a load of catching up to do on the Walking Dead! The last one I read they’d picked up a creepily over friendly preacher, who will inevitably turn out t be evil as they where being followed by another mystery group with guns on the final page. But alas i have work to do so i’ll have to put that to one side and consider it bed time reading for tonight. But oh look it’s lunch time, time for a cup of tea before i start work, maybe slip in a comic… the procrastination begins. Only kidding well ish but there should be a painting on the way some time soon, as well as my illustrated cult classics “Pens” in the near future.
